Your Duties And Responsibilities as a Systems Engineer

Administer Infor LN & Infor OS (ION/Mingle / DOM)
Understand and define appropriate Baan parameters for the installations.
Clear and complete knowledge of V and Infor LN Tools and Porting set binaries.
Baan installation and setup, porting, upgrades, testing, planning, and execution.
Troubleshooting job failures and user problems, Root cause identification and analysis, Baan are tracing utilities.
Good knowledge of DEM and Worktop technologies – Well-versed in PMC Patching, Software export/import, Audit Management, Job Management, and Device Management.
Creative thinking, detail-oriented and skillful with Python, Perl, PowerShell, and other scripting languages
Architect for Baan V & Infor LN environments. Over 18000 users configured. Over 3000 concurrent connections.
Maintain Baan and interface licensing using SLM. Installation and maintenance.
Close coordination with back-end support teams – Solaris Administrators, Oracle DBA, Storage, and Network architects.

Requirements / Who Can Apply For This Position

Good exposure in Infor OS ( Mingle / ION / Document Manager )
Linux scripting knowledge. – Exposure to Tivoli Workload Scheduler will be an added advantage, but not mandatory.
Knowledge of Oracle DB and Linux OS functionality is preferable.
Infor LN Working experience in a Unix environment
Expertise in Open World – the creation of Bus components, Troubleshooting.
A good understanding of SOA / Infor Barcode applications is added advantage.
Good knowledge of Oracle DB basics, SQL Plus, querying, and scripting.
Knowledge of SOA technologies.
Minimum 3 years of experience in automation/scripting processes on Unix/Linux/Windows environment
