Flex is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to join their team in Guadalajara, North Campus. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for MySQL database administration, migration from other RDBMS to MySQL DB on-prem/Cloud platforms, database performance tuning, backup and restore, disaster configuration, high availability setup, user, storage maintenance, and automation, AD/LDAP configuration. You will collaborate with application teams, designers, developers, and business owners to ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and administer MySQL solutions
• Migrate databases/data from RDBMS to MySQL on-prem/cloud infrastructure
• Design databases including implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning
• Deploy and administer MySQL on cloud platforms

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
