Responsibilities:

Preparation of Electrical Layout Drawing (including junction boxes, conduits run, wiring)
Preparation of Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Electrical schematics, Electrical Load list, Cable lists.
Proficiency in 2D design documentation of Electrical components using tools like; COMOS, ELCAD & EPLAN (must).
Experience with appropriate selection of Electrical components as per the standards
Adding support details to the 3D model for Junction Boxes, Conduits, Cable trays.
Run cable, conduit and/or cable tray sizing calculations.
Run design simulation / calculations using ETAP or equivalent.
Evaluation of cut-sheets/Datasheets for electrical components; turbine generator, transformer, DG, Cables, Electrical Panels, UPS etc.
Exposure with Lighting design concepts and smart lighting methodologies and can perform lighting calculations using s/w like DIALux.
Preparation of Electrical load list, cable list and Bill of Materials (BoM)
Awareness of Electrical Codes & Standards; IEC, NEC, IEEE, UL.
Review vendor documentation, as necessary.
Practical site exposure on Erection and Commissioning of all electrical installation works will be added advantage.
Maintain & continuously adopt new technical skills and knowledge, with the evolving product lifecycle and subsequent requirements.
Work independently as necessary, as well as accomplish common objectives in a team setting.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Proficiency in 2D design documentation of Electrical components using tools like; COMOS, ELCAD & EPLAN (must). And 3D designs in Bentley Openplant, Microstation, Revit, E3D, AutoCAD, SP3D (optional)
Experience with appropriate selection of Electrical components as per the standards
Awareness of Electrical Codes & Standards; IEC, NEC, IEEE, UL
Exposure with Lighting design concepts and smart lighting methodologies and can perform lighting calculations using s/w like DIALux.
5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering with practical site exposure on Erection and Commissioning of all electrical installation works
Ability to work independently as necessary and accomplish common objectives in a team setting
