A Technical specialist with a focus on customer service and complex engine repair at the customer’s site. The Senior Engineer Key Account – Solution will diagnose and execute repairs, coach technicians, develop relationships with customers, and identify sales opportunities.


  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers to diagnose and repair complex engine products on-site.
  • Develop productive relationships with customers and ensure prompt attention and resolution of customer needs.
  • Use specialized tools and documented procedures to diagnose and complete complex repairs at the customer site.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities according to documented schedules and standards on engines and components in the field.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisors.
  • Coach and develop technicians and transfer knowledge and experience to others.
  • Review repair plans, parts lists, etc.
  • Complete required documentation such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  • Identify additional sales and service opportunities with customers.
  • Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
  • Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Report any issues/incidents to site management and supervisor.


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of engine products and systems.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage complexity and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Experience in coaching and developing others.
  • Willingness to seek out new challenges and grow professionally.
