As a Desk Strategy Associate, you’ll collaborate with our UK rates team, and track and analyze fixed income markets. You’ll build financial models and frameworks, and set up a suite of analytics, including fair value modelling, relative valuation, and flow and positioning that helps in analyzing the markets.

Your Duties And Responsibilities as a Desk Strategy Associate

Formulating trade ideas or investment opportunities
Tracking and commenting on macroeconomic data releases, financial model results, financial market data, and political developments globally
Managing the workflow as well as the learning and development needs of the team
Writing and publishing analytical and thematic research reports
Collaborating with team members globally, including the sales and trading team on various ad-hoc requests and projects on fixed-income research

Requirements / Who Can Apply For This Position

Knowledge of economic and financial markets databases such as Bloomberg and Haver
Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience in coordinating and working with global stakeholders
Strong Microsoft Office Excel programming skills
A technical and analytical mindset
