We are looking for a Technical Architect with 12 years of experience (Level 4) to lead team efforts, personnel, and group deliverables. The ideal candidate should have an expert level of knowledge in IT business analysis, data modeling & design, application modeling & design, development, integration and delivery, application maintenance, and support functions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead team efforts, personnel, and group deliverables
• Apply data principles to application integration or services oriented architecture design patterns
• Design infrastructures to support cloud-native distributed applications that leverage microservice architecture, REST APIs, API Gateways, relational and NoSQL stores and loosely coupled messaging
• Ensure data security and data classification in enterprise environments
• Design end-to-end telematics products, including in-car embedded components
• Implement clean, maintainable, and testable software code
• Understand the entire software development life cycle
• Understand concepts and tools for (predictive) analytics, data visualization and unstructured data
• Integrate connected service applications into Big Data projects
• Manage large Docker environments and their deployment, e.g. Kubernetes and Mesos
• Design and implement Internet of Things (IoT) solutions that leverage high volume telemetry ingestion, stream analytics and data visualization
• Integrate systems across multiple organizations
• Develop mobile applications, Java server applications, web applications, and portal technologies
• Optimize database designs for analytics

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience as a Technical Architect
• Expertise in Agile software development methodology, Service Oriented Architect design
• Expertise with cloud hosting and storage technologies such as AWS/EC2/S3, Azure, Rackspace, Google, etc.
• Knowledge of configuration management and version control processes
• Familiarity with working and managing of large Docker environments and their deployment e.g. Kubernetes and Mesos
• Strong understanding of integration of connected service applications into Big Data projects
• Experience with systems integration across multiple organizations
• Good understanding of relational, unstructured, and streaming database design
• Very good understanding of concepts and tools for (predictive) analytics, data visualization and unstructured data
• Solid understanding of the entire software development life cycle
