As a Knowledge, Learning, and Development Advisor, you will be responsible for implementing knowledge management practices and delivering learning and development activities across Nesta and BIT. You will report to the Group Lead – Knowledge, Learning, and Development and work collaboratively with various teams within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the effort to build knowledge management and learning and development into the daily workflow of activities and processes, including project management
- Support the continuous improvement of all strategic knowledge, learning, and development initiatives by evaluating activities, systems, and interventions, and recommending areas for improvement
- Track progress against all agreed on KM and L&D metrics
- Implement all mandatory training and compliance policies, working with key teams, including Legal, People, Finance
Knowledge Management
- Oversee completion of knowledge management (KM) activities and provide support to staff in the completion of those activities
- Work with the IT team to set up and configure our KM tools
- Design and deliver training and internal communications regarding the use of KM tools
L&D
- Deliver curriculum of learning across Nesta and BIT in line with the annual learning and development calendar
- Design and deliver learning and development interventions including programs, workshops, and resources
- Undertake annual training needs assessment and recommend L&D interventions to meet identified needs in line with Nesta and BIT’s strategy and capability frameworks
- Identify and manage relationships with external development providers
- Design and develop onboarding approaches for Nesta and BIT in line with each organization’s employee deal
- Recommend and implement new initiatives relating to apprenticeships, internships, and work placements
- Work closely with HR and People team colleagues to align learning and development practices with performance management, career development, talent, and succession approaches.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Organizational Development, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in designing and delivering successful learning and development programs.
- Knowledge of current trends, theories, and best practices in L&D and knowledge management.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and engage and influence key stakeholders.
- Experience in working with IT teams and managing software tools.
- Experience in evaluating and measuring the effectiveness of L&D programs.
