A: The data centre engineer will be responsible for implementing data centre strategy in the design and provision of data centre infrastructure for NTT DATA’s Telecom client. This will include managing IT Comms rooms, performing preventative maintenance, enforcing logical and physical access controls within the data centres, managing contractors on-site, performing disaster recovery exercises, implementing and maintaining asset management within the data centres, and providing support for tape media management and power cycling.
