A: Some of the responsibilities include managing operations and overall functioning of the branch, meeting branch targets and adhering to all guidelines and regulatory requirements, cost management, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring that customers receive world-class service and their needs are met through the bank’s financial product offerings, supervising key areas such as marketing, business channel development, team development, and revenue generation, ensuring all staff is adequately trained on the bank’s products and sales processes, dealing with external and internal auditors and inspections, and driving the branch towards higher profitability.
