A: The job involves working closely with various teams such as Product Development, Testing, Customer Support, and Product Management to produce high-quality software documentation. The technical writer will gather information about the products, design and develop written and visual product-related information for a variety of audiences, and create online information such as interactive demos and help systems.
Q: What are the qualifications and skill set required for this role?
A: The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience as a Technical Writer and knowledge of authoring tools such as MadCap Flare. They should have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to translate complex technical information into simple and easily understandable documentation. Attention to detail and a customer-first attitude are essential, as are the desire and ability to learn new products. Experience in creating online help, and video tutorials, and working in an agile development environment is a plus. The candidate should also be able to work independently with minimal guidance.
