A: The responsibilities of the job include using 3D modeling, texture mapping, and other techniques to create graphics, visual effects, and animations; delivering high-craft, conceptually strong illustrations, iconography, and animation; understanding project requirements and conceptualizing creative ideas; creating storyboards; creating 3D sculptures and assets; and troubleshooting any problems that arise during the work on a project.
Q: What are the requirements for the job?
A: The requirements for the job include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design or a related field, 1-2 years of professional experience as a 3D motion/graphic designer, a sound understanding of fundamental design disciplines, a portfolio of work that showcases the applicant’s skills in visual/motion design, strong working knowledge of industry-standard software, excellent creativity, and artistic skills, good communication and teamwork skills, excellent time management skills, willingness to remain up to date on the latest creative software and hardware, and experience in a related position in the gaming or sports industry (preferred).
