Are you an experienced and motivated individual in mechanical engineering? ABG42664 CementIndia is seeking a skilled DH Mechanical (Post Clinker) for Aditya Cement Works. As an Assistant Vice President, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and ensuring the implementation of mechanical operation & maintenance activities for the Post Clinkerisation department to achieve maximum plant availability within optimum costs.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuous operation & maintenance of THREE big-sized plants, to meet the clinker demand.
- Planned, organize, coordinate, and ensure implementation of Mechanical operation & Maintenance activities for Post Clinkerisation department.
- Manage operation and maintenance of mills and packing areas for the entire plant.
- Enforce WCM, Safety, Inventory, Manpower skill upgrade, contractual manpower safety, training, etc.
- Prioritize site rounds, technically critical inspections, shutdown, PM, meetings, etc., requiring physical presence and involvement.
- Enforce safety induction and training to mitigate workmen’s tendency to undermine safe work procedures.
- Perform incident investigations, SAP PR and SES release, Bill passing, Confluence Suggestion approval, Kronos, etc., functions ONLY through DH Id.
- Supervise three plants with at least three planned shutdowns, their preparation, execution, and pre-and post-shutdown activities.
- Maintain mechanical equipment to keep it available for production at its best efficiency.
- Manage a large workforce (more than 400) to ensure injury-free Mondays.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 15-20 years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Strong skills in decision-making, communication, team management, presentation skills, problem-solving, and maintenance.
- Ability to prioritize site rounds, technically critical inspections, shutdown, PM, meetings, etc., requiring physical presence and involvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
