Are you a detail-oriented individual with strong numerical and analytical skills? Avenue Supermart Ltd is currently seeking an Accounts Officer to join our finance and accounts team in Vapi. As the Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring timely payments to vendors, managing petty cash, and reconciling sales cash deposits.

Requirements:

• Graduation in B.Com/M.Com
• Good numerical ability and analytical skills
• Meticulousness and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all vendor payments are made on time as per set processes
• Deduct LBT from vendor payments in a timely manner
• Ensure timely payment of statutory dues such as ESIC/MLWF/Electricity/Property Tax
• Safely deposit sales cash in bank account daily and reconcile
• Manage petty cash and arrange for change
• Coordinate with Cash Officers in case of non-closure of EDC machine batch
• Scrutinize general ledger entries regularly
• Administer and issue stationery required for internal use
• Assist Cash Officers in resolving issues related to card payments
• Keep records updated as per the process
